FAQ’s of Infrared Sauna at Longevity

Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions to help you make the most of your infrared sauna experience:

What should I bring to my sauna session?

  • Water bottle (a refill station is available onsite).

  • 2 large towels to lay out on the bench, skin should not have direct contact with the wood. Towels are available to rent if you do not have your own.

What should I wear?

  • It’s entirely up to you—it’s all about personal preference! You can wear light, loose-fitting clothing, a swimsuit, or go au naturel. Rest assured, you'll have complete privacy in a locked, private room.

How long is a sauna session:

The average session length is 35 minutes, with a maximum of 45 minutes. You have 50 minutes total in the room to allow time for setup, relaxation, and cleanup.

Can I adjust the sauna settings?

  • Yes! You can choose from pre-set options or customize the settings to your preference.

What is the cleaning policy?

  • All surfaces must be covered with towels during your session—no skin should touch the wood.

  • After your session, place all used towels (including floor towels) in the hamper by the stairs.

  • Wipe down any surfaces as needed; cleaning supplies are available in the sauna room.

What happens if I leave the room in disarray?

  • A $50 cleaning fee will be applied if the room is not left clean and tidy. Repeated offenses will result in a ban from sauna use.

Are there any health precautions I should take?

  • Stay hydrated before, during, and after your session.

  • Consult your doctor if you’re pregnant, have a medical condition, or are taking medications that may be affected by heat.

  • Avoid alcohol or heavy meals before your session.

How do I access the building?

  • 5 minutes before your appointment you will receive a text and using the Momence app you can access the building. Please do not attempt to access the building more than 5 minutes prior to your appointment start time.

  • Ensure the door closes securely behind you.

Can I bring my phone or electronic devices?

  • It’s best to avoid bringing electronic devices into the sauna, as the heat may damage them. Use this time to unplug and relax!
